Easy Trade Me freight solutions with PACK & SEND

With a summer holiday booked in picturesque Golden Bay and the unexpected addition of a boat for two weeks, I was frantically searching on Trade Me for waterskis to achieve maximum enjoyment from the new toy.

After successfully purchasing a set of adult and childrens waterskis in record time from two very helpful Trade Me Sellers, both located in Auckland, the next phase was getting them to either home, in Christchurch, or to the camping ground in Golden Bay.

I faced a few small issues that a lot of Trade Me transactions encounter. Both sets of skis were “pick up only”, unpacked and not in the same location as myself. Added to this was the time of year where a number of Public Holidays meant that no courier or freight services were available regularly, and depending on when the skis were sent also dictated where I needed them to be delivered.

Thankfully both sellers were prepared to drop off the skis to the PACK & SEND Albany store, which was their closest store. Garry and Cherry Le Verne at PACK & SEND Albany packed the waterskis in tuffwrap bubblewrap, for safe travel and sent them on the Budget Courier service to the camping ground in Golden Bay.

Everything was organised within a day via emails to the different parties on their involvement in the logistics.

Two days later the extended family is having great fun on the water with the new toys.

Maybe our best summer holiday ever!!
