PACK & SEND goes over the top in Wellington
When Roger Tuarau and his team at PACK & SEND Thorndon Quay were asked to move furniture and personal belongings from a customer’s apartment in downtown Wellington even they were surprised as to the heights they would have to go to complete the job.
“All of the personal effects, artwork and furniture was packed up and moved down the eight flights of stairs, or down in the elevator, to the store ready to be transported via our Furniture Removal service to Auckland” explains Roger. “The only problem we had was the large bespoke three seater lounge suite which couldn’t be moved down the stairs. It had to go out the window.”
“At PACK & SEND we have a ‘No Limits’ Philosophy, where nothing is too hard for us to pack and send, but this certainly had us testing our resources” exclaimed Roger. “Having access to the right tools certainly helps with these types of movements, and we were able to use a crane with an experienced crane operator to safely remove the lounge suite from the fourth story apartment building with surgical precision, it was pretty special to be part of” says Roger.
With everything now down on Terra Firma the team at PACK & SEND Thorndon Quay quickly packed the lounge suite, loaded it with the rest of the customer’s belongings and transported to her new apartment in Auckland.
