Pack & Send Hamilton City sends etching press to USA

Local artist and etching press manufacturer John Mulvay asked Mark Silvester at Pack & Send Hamilton City to send a small etching press to a customer in Indiana, USA.

John has been reluctant in the past to sell his etching press overseas due to its size and packaging requirements but sought the expertise of Mark to solve his problem.

Mark was able to construct a strong plywood crate and provide internal packaging that allowed maximum protection against the rigors of the freight industry that resulted in the etching press arriving in the same pristine condition as it left.

Taking care of all the required documentation for sending this type of item overseas by the team at Pack & Send Hamilton City allowed John to carry on with his ‘day job’ as an artist and was updated on a regular basis for Track and Trace by Mark until delivery.

Just a note to let you know my American client was very impressed with the packing of her etching press.
