Pack & Send Nelson – “Do you ship Boats” ?

For Bill Lawrence, PACK & SEND Nelson City franchisee, this was an unusual request from a customer a few months ago – “Can you ship my boat back to South Korea”?

Subscribing to PACK & SEND’s No Limits Philosophy Bill replied “Of course we can” then set about arranging the logistics for his customer.

Bill started with picking up the boat from a local storage facility in Nelson, arranged for a 40 foot container to be available at a local container depot then had it securely ‘tied down’ within the container for the impending trip.

Using PACK & SEND’s Sea Freight to the Port service, the boat was consigned to the busy South Korean port of Busan.

The boat in question is difficult to purchase in South Korea and initially had know idea how he was going to get it back home until he called Bill. The customer was very pleased with the outcome.
